Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions

These Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the text (SMS) messaging programs operated by Diakon Logistics ("Diakon," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Diakon sends text messages for two purposes: (a) delivery notifications — scheduling, delivery windows, ETA and en-route updates, and status messages for deliveries we perform; and (b) driver and contractor recruiting and onboarding — application status, opportunities, and onboarding steps for individuals who have expressed interest in driving or contracting with Diakon.

2. How to Opt In

You opt in by submitting your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts through our online sign-up form, or by providing your number and consent to a Diakon representative by phone or in person. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of employment or contracting.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your delivery activity or application status.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Diakon does not charge for the messages, but your carrier's rates still apply.

5. Opt Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT. After you opt out, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts to that number, except as needed to process your request.

7. Supported Carriers and Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" above shows when they were last revised.
